With over two decades of experience in the Labour Movement, Michael's career has spanned various sectors including services and manufacturing, demonstrating his extensive commitment and contribution to workers' advocacy and support.

Liang Yahui

Yahui is currently the Director of Operations and Licensing Department, in the Foreign Manpower Management Division of the Ministry of Manpower. She oversees the enforcement operations related to the employment of work pass holders in Singapore, as well as the regulation and licensing of dormitories and employment agencies. 

Yahui joined the civil service in 2024 and has taken on various portfolios in MOM, including driving workplace policies on the management of migrant workers and migrant domestic helpers, and income security policies to enhance the retirement adequacy and financial literacy of Singaporeans. 

More recently, Yahui was the Director(Operations) in the Assurance, Care and Engagement Group in the Ministry of Manpower and implemented measures that safeguard the well-being of migrant workers, including safe onboarding of workers when they first arrive in Singapore and support systems for their housing, healthcare and social needs in peacetime and crisis.
